The terms
between us
These terms apply whenever you browse this site, place an order, or build a wedding microsite with us. Please read them before you buy.

Who we are
This site is operated by Dear Delilah, an Australian sole trader, ABN 86 673 034 061. In these terms, "we", "us", and "our" mean Dear Delilah, and "you" means the person using the site or placing an order.
You can reach us at hello@deardelilah.app.
Accepting these terms
By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time, and the version published here at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
Orders and pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Prices displayed in other currencies are indicative conversions for your convenience, and the amount actually charged will be in Australian dollars.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Your order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may decline an order, and we will refund you in full if we do. This might happen where an item has been mispriced, is unavailable, or where we cannot meet a deadline you need.
We try to keep product descriptions, images, and prices accurate, but errors happen. Screen rendering also means printed colours may vary slightly from what you see on your device. If you need exact colour matching, ask us about a sample before ordering.
Payment
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your order is not confirmed until payment has been successfully completed.
Digital templates
Digital items are editable templates delivered through Canva. You will need a free Canva account to use them. When you buy a digital template, we grant you a licence to use it, and you may:
- Edit the template with your own wedding details.
- Print it yourself, or have it printed by a print shop, in any quantity for your own event.
- Share the finished designs with your guests.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, share, or give away the template file or its editable link.
- Offer the design, edited or otherwise, as your own product or service.
- Claim authorship of the original artwork, or register any part of it as a trade mark.
- Use the designs for another client's event on a commercial basis.
The licence is personal to you and to a single wedding or event. It does not transfer copyright. All artwork, typography choices, layouts, and illustrations remain our intellectual property.
Printed stationery and proofs
Printed items are personalised and made to order. We will send you a digital proof before printing. Approving that proof is your confirmation that all names, dates, times, addresses, spelling, and punctuation are correct.
Once you approve a proof, we print exactly what it shows. We cannot take responsibility for errors that were present in an approved proof, and reprints in that situation are charged at full price.
Wedding microsites
Where you create a wedding microsite, you are responsible for the content you publish on it and for any personal information you upload about your guests, including names, email addresses, dietary requirements, and any notes you add.
You agree that you have the right to share that information with us for the purpose of running your site, and that you will handle your guests' information responsibly. You must not publish content that is unlawful, misleading, infringing, or offensive.
We may suspend or remove a site that breaches these terms. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we recommend you keep your own copy of important guest information.
Shipping, returns, and refunds
Delivery times, return eligibility, and our refund position, including the fact that digital items are not refundable for change of mind, are set out in full in our Shipping and Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies those guarantees.
For major failures you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For failures that are not major, you are entitled to have the problem fixed within a reasonable time.
Our liability
Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including postal and courier delays, customs processing, supplier failures, natural events, or outages affecting third party services such as Canva, Stripe, or our hosting provider.
Intellectual property
All content on this site, including designs, artwork, photography, text, and the site itself, belongs to Dear Delilah or is used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce, or adapt it for commercial use without our written permission.
Privacy
How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies and analytics is described in our Cookie Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of Australia, and you agree to raise any concern with us directly first so we have a fair chance to resolve it.
